Chris Addison - The Ape that got lucky

Fringe Programme page 23

Chris Addison is somewhat different from the average comedian at the Fringe this year in that he 'plays up' his middleclass heritage.
He is a bit different as well, due to his show being almost a lecture, albeit a comical one on what makes ,the difference between man and the apes. One of his opening lines is that humans and chimps share 98% of the same DNA.
He then lists the main characteristic differences that separate the two species. Very interesting, but there were times that I felt I should be taking notes to assist in getting my degree.
The is the occasional use of props, a filing cabinet and a coat rack being the most obvious, together with an ease with subject cards, indicating the five main differences between the species.
So, if you like your comedy of a more sophisticated nature, then Chris is an act you'd enjoy, and he would also appeal as something different for anyone.
