Count Arthur Strong's Forgotten Egypt

One of the faster selling shows under the Gilded Balloons banner.  With good reports of this show I managed to fit it in at the last gasp and unfortunately wished I hadn’t.

Although about half of the Audience were in hysterics the other half like me were struggling to even raise a smile let alone a laugh.  Admittedly it takes great talent to write and perform a show where the character slides almost seamlessly from subject to subject with momentary sane interludes.  His sudden outbursts of expletives could I suppose have been endearing but I felt they were over played.

Fortunately Fringe audiences have wide tastes and I will leave Count Arthur to those who enjoy and appreciate his performances.
