Dave Fulton - Random Rant

Dave Fulton is an American stand up from Seattle originally but is currently London based.

He says himself that he can look scary and I suppose he could look so, but he is totally non-threatening to his audience, unless you are late, blonde and tanned and even then he is by no means the worst I've I seen.

He chats away telling us a little of his history and relates quite an interesting section on the American perspective to the recent World Cup.

They in a totally different tack, he has written numerous subjects that normally form part of his act on poker chips, and invites audience members to draw at random from these in a bag. His idea is to go to that part of the act, but there is an attempt to sabotage his act by a young lady who reads off her selection, i.e. sex instead of coffee and, let's say female sex toys instead of Europe.

This was quite amusing, and Dave being the professional he is takes it all in his stride and delivers the real routine on the chip.

As we only saw about one third of the chips it is reasonable to assume it would be possible to see him 3 times and see a different act each time. I only wished time permitted.
