Ubersausage Productions, you
know those Blacksheep folk who keep on cropping up in the daily news
arranged an Adults Only version of their children's show Fairly
Tales.
Not having seen the kiddies
show, I wasn't that sure as to what to expect, but knowing the
'lunatics' concerned I was sure it was going to be well worth
seeing.
I was not wrong. From a few
words chosen at random from books they used their creative lunacy to
entertain their audience with some really bizarre, sometimes surreal,
comic material. One of the things that came across was the
enjoyment this group were deriving from it themselves. Those not
actually involved were chuckling away at their colleagues capers.
I understand that the group
have had approaches from a huge comedy channel to do some writing
for them. Maybe this show's material wouldn't be so suitable, but
judging by their invention I am sure they could adapt to the format
required.
I really am looking forward to
next years productions.
