Ian Kendall's teeny weeny
magic show, too
|
Fringe
Programme page 33 |
Ian Kendall is fairly unique.
There are not many magicians on the Fringe, there are not many
Edinburgh natives performing either, and their can't be too many 6ft
plus who must weigh about eight stone.
Ian fits all of the above, but
what he fits even better is his chosen role of an up close magician
with a friendly line of comedy. It says plenty of the man's personal
appeal to his audiences
all the seats were taken there
were quite a few standing.
Of course Mr Kendall is first
and foremost a magician, and a damn good one at that. There were a
few youngster in the audience and the look of astonishment on their
faces was reflected on us more mature members.
How he manages some of his
tricks, illusions, call them what you will, well it can only be
magic!!
I was pleased to see that the
old favorite 'Gravity' is still in the show and although everybody
has seen it before, it is ,along with the rest of his show superb!!
