I must confess that I am huge fan of New Revue,
and it is always one of the first shows I look for in each years
Fringe Programme
I thought last years show would take some
topping, but I think this years version manages to do so.
In some respects it's more of the same, 2
girls, two boys a musical director and nearly an hours mixture of
music and biting satire. Is it just another helping of the same? No
way. From the opening ditty ' Leader of Iraq' I was enthralled.
Nobody is safe, politicians, Royalty, George W,
Becks, Sven are just a few who get the treatment. The best skits?
I'm hard pushed to pick between 'I've got you Jade' and the Jamie
Oliver inspired 'I'm born to fry'
I would recommend this show to anyone why loves
to see Celebes lampooned, and I'm already looking forward to next
years show, this one finished far too quickly.
