Art Gallery attendant, Mr
Graham Bradshaw, introduced by the violin playing of young Kitty
Lovett, started the show quietly yet humorously.
His greetings of ‘do not touch the artwork’ welcomed
several groups of latecomers. His
gentle sense of humor lulled you in to a false sense of security.
Kitty Lovett, aged 10, took
the stage whilst her father got changed.
Having being a finalist in ‘The Funniest Kids in Britain’
this young lady is no stranger to performing.
Even at this tender age she has picked up the talent for
tormenting her audience mercilessly.
This cute yet precocious child could have a career in comedy
in front of her should she want it.
The main part of the evening
moved between cutting satire, gentle teasing of the audience and
plenty extremely funny material.
Having decided to go to this show on the strength of liking
Norman’s voice during the few episodes of ‘The Red Dwarf’ I
actually watched. I was rewarded with probably the only show on the fringe
boasting a father and daughter presentation, full of mild yet
pleasant, mainly harmless comedy, which gave the audience a very
funny show.
Definitely one to see if you
can.
