Dr Phil Hammond: 59 minutes to save the NHS

Fringe Programme page 27

Dr Hammond is a real doctor, but boy is he a stand up comedian as well.
In this years show 59 minutes to save the NHS he gives a masterful display of his talents as a comic, largely by using anecdotal examples from 'his other job'.
In a packed out cabaret bar, standing room only was definitely the order of the day, as he kept his audience in the palm of his hand for the duration of the show.
He went through a list of candidate for the potential saviors of the NHS, the Government, Health Boards, Doctors and nurses themselves even patients themselves.
It is said that laughter is the best medicine. If this is the case, could it be that Phil Hammond single handed could be the required savior, only time will tell.
I would suggest that you get you ticket today, because if word of mouth works as well as it seems, you could find yourself in a waiting list as long as the NHS currently possess.
