Having
spent a couple of years avoiding going to Dominic's shows, I
finally attended last years 'Truth
and Lies...' (an artist's urban odyssey) and wished I had
attended the previous ones. Hence when this years brochure came
out he was one of the first shows to be penciled in.
Millennium
Prayer, as always written by this exceptionally talented artist,
and I use the word intentionally as Coleman literally uses his
words to paint the characters he has created.
With
the simplest of sets he leads us through this urban nightmare all
told through the eyes and words of a dancing poet alien. We meet
Denny, his brother Mikey, girlfriend Michelle estranged father
Mike and each has a story which is personalized through the
'dancing poet,'
Coleman
is a born performer and deserves far more recognition than he has
already got not to mention a better venue and time slot. Still,
take the opportunity to catch him while you can.
